Kids Ride Free This Thanksgiving Weekend on NJ TRANSIT

Families planning to travel this Thanksgiving weekend can take advantage of NJ TRANSIT's Family SuperSaver Fare, allowing up to two children aged 11 and younger to ride free with each fare-paying adult.

 

This special offer is valid from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, through 2 a.m. on Monday, January 5.

 

To accommodate increased holiday travel, NJ TRANSIT is providing additional rail and bus services throughout the weekend.

 

On Wednesday afternoon, early getaway services will be available for those beginning their holiday travels.

 

On Thanksgiving Day, extra trains will operate to and from New York City, facilitating travel to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

 

For added convenience, travelers are encouraged to download the NJ TRANSIT mobile app for Android or iPhone.

 

The app allows users to purchase tickets directly from their phones, helping to avoid lines at ticket windows.
