Empowering Youth with Disabilities: Lifelong Skills Inc's Commitment to Inclusive Opportunities

Fostering Fulfillment and Productivity Through Education, Training, and Advocacy

At Lifelong Skills Inc, we envision a world where youth with disabilities and their families experience equal opportunities, fostering a life of fulfillment and productivity.

As a dedicated non-profit, we passionately champion the rights of youth with disabilities and at-risk special families.

Our commitment to a sustainable future is evident through initiatives such as continuing education, skills training, employment, and unwavering advocacy.

Join us in building an inclusive and empowering world where every individual, regardless of ability, can thrive and realize their full potential.

Through drawing, painting, graphic design, and other creative outlets, students can explore and express themselves.

Our program encourages students to be bold and personally engaged.

Our Developmental Skills Program supports students in learning basic life skills such as personal care and literacy.

Often lifelong learners, we offer sustainable care for students.

Our Life Skills Program teaches students to become active participants in their households, from cooking and cleaning to handling and understanding money and other important skills.

By focusing on specific vocational skills, students can learn to become part of the workforce.

These skills include merchandising, masonry, and agricultural farming.

At Lifelong, we pride ourselves on being a family-centered space, supporting both parents and students equally.

Through teaching our students skills and providing a safe, clean, and educational environment, we assure parents that their child is in good hands.

In turn, our parents support us in various ways: from teaching classes at the center to providing volunteer hours and assisting students with travel across our different locations.

Our parents, students, teachers, and leaders uplift each other as one big family community.

Several of our initiatives would benefit from financial and voluntary support.

We welcome and thank all who can contribute to our mission of uplifting and creating lifelong solutions for special-needs students and families.

In recent developments, we are excited to announce our participation in the upcoming Free Family Fun Fair on August 3, 2025, at our new Southfield location.

This event aims to bring awareness to rehabilitation and mental health, aligning with our mission to support youth with disabilities and their families.

Additionally, we are collaborating with local organizations to offer Life Skills Classes starting in December 2024, focusing on problem-solving, effective communication, and stress management.

These initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive support and resources to our community.

For more information on these events and how you can get involved, please contact us directly.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of youth with disabilities and their families.
